IGOR'S BLOG
I wanted to see if there was anything new there.
http://toz35.blogspot.com/
And instead of Igor's informative writing, I see this:
This blog is open to invited readers only.
How does one get invited?

Re: IGOR'S BLOG
The problem with us TargetTalk authors, is that we tend to get UN-invited . . . .
Re: IGOR'S BLOG
Guess what? I searched for ruig in the members' list, just to send him a PM to get an invitation, and he isn't there any more!!!
Re: IGOR'S BLOG
He will be missed, along with his blog. There was a lot of useful and hard to find information there.
What could have happened?
Re: IGOR'S BLOG
Let's hope he wasn't too close to Viktor Navalny.

Re: IGOR'S BLOG
I searched all the pages with "r" and he wasn't, or else I couldn't find him.
I'll look again.
Re: IGOR'S BLOG
You're right, David. One of the first in the list. I must 've skipped him in my haste.
Inactive since march 2020. I'll send a PM anyway.

And now, the "contact" option in his profile is not any more, you can´t send him a PM.

Re: IGOR'S BLOG
I have to say that when surfing the 'net, if I find something of real interest, I download or copy it to my computer lest it disappear at some time in the future. I’ve copied quite a few gems from Igor's blog for my future reference and am now very glad I did. One of the most useful was a copy of Danilov's 1968 book on modifying the Russian target pistols and rifles for completion - in Russia, of course but translatable with some help from Mr Google. Great info on tuning the Margolin. Same approach with a number of other sites, especially those run by what seemed like more experienced (read elderly) people who might decide at some point that it’s too much hassle or too costly to maintain the site or who might, god forbid, pop their clogs and the site eventually gets closed down or evaporates.
I wish Igor well whatever he's decide to do. He WILL be missed.

You can still look at articles Igor's Blog without being an Invited Reader.
Google the topic you want from his blog, and then look at the Cached copy.

I am printing out everything posted by Rover. I am framing it and hanging it on the wall in my livingroom.
Re: IGOR'S BLOG
His blog is somewhat accessible if you use web.archive.org.
For example:

Thanks Matthew. It is possible to get to his most recent posts (2019) though some of the links do not work:
