Im looking for a pistol for sport pistol in 9mm, I know the Sig 210 is the king of the hill, but too expensive. Please inform-me of your experience with this or other guns for this discipline.

I have never shot an Elite, but I own an Expert, which is essentially the same gun, only the Elite has a 6" barrel, the Expert only a 5 1/4" barrel.
Accuracy is no problem! But then, lot's of 9mm pistols today have superb accuracy for the shooting disciplines for which they are used.
Accuracy for target-shooting is very fine, but as the pistol is ultra light, aiming is nowhere near as easy as with modern .22 target pistols (Hämmerli SP20, Pardini SP and the likes).
However, the lightweight pistol is a breeze in "service-pistol" competitions and IPSC-like disciplines, it's very easy to move the pistol quickly. The jet-funnel aids rapid magazine changes, as does the magazine release lever.
All the H&K USP's are ultra reliable and maintenance is very easy.
Check out the test results in various magazines, Visier.de scored it 95 points in their huge 9mm pistol test:

All in all I love the gun, and it's not picky about ammo either - I use Leader FMJ 124g, SK FMJ, AMA (danish military) FMJ, homebrew with 145g Händler&Natermann coppercoated lead bullets, even occasionally some low-quality Magtech stuff.
