What would be considered a reasonable price for a used 601 in (apparently) excellent condition? The local gunstore has one thats been sitting for a while marked at $1000. I think part of their sales problem is they have it marked as a Beeman, not as a FWB 601 (yes I know Beeman imports FWB)

Their other problem maybe a little too high in price.In used but excellant condition about $850 is my best guess.

Ah. That too. Is there a 'Blue Book' out there for air guns like there is for firearms?
I'm afraid I might have problems talking them down to a reasonable level, as they probably took it on trade w/o fully realizing what it was worth (realistically), and may have too much into it to be very 'flexible'.
Maybe if it collects dust long enough, they'll see things 'my way' ;)

$750-900 is about the normal range. Both the ones I'd gotten in the past were "steals" in the $550-650 range. 8^) I sold them off for what I paid.
