RWS R10 Pellet Pricing

Post by dulcmr-man »

Still trying to help a friend's widow dispose of excess items. This time it's about 15 tins of RWS R10 pellets. I THINK they are all tins of 500, but I'm not sure of their size and weight. What is a fair asking price for these?

TIA,

Dennis, aka Dulcmrman

Greetings,

$13.50 a tin of 500 at Champions Choice.

I did notice that the rifle have a yellow color and the pistol are blue.

Sometimes there is a sticker on the bottom of the can that may add more clues.

Cheers,

Dave

The pellets come in 300 and 500 tins. If you shake a tin and you feel the pells shaking around, then it's a 300 (worth much less).

Blue tin pells are 7grain, Yellow 8.2. Same price.

Don't worry about "size", it doesn't matter (except to your love life).

I could be mistaken - long time since I've used anything but JSB - but I'm pretty sure blue / yellow labels are Meisterkugeln. The last tin of R10s I handled had a black label printed directly on the metal.

Doh!

But I understand that R10s are just selected MK lots. (Or vice-versa.)
