Anschutz 9015: how to remove c-clip from cocking lever pin?

HI,
I own an Anschutz 9015 and I want to move the cocking lever from one side to the other. The manual explains how to do this on page 15, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the circlip that holds the pin in place. It's not only small, but installed in a tight spot. Anschutz recommended using a screwdriver but even a tiny jeweler's screwdriver seems too large. As anyone any experience with doing this?
