In the UK I am having some dificulty in tracking down a sight blade for my 480. I need a backsight notch width of more than 4mm. Anyone got a spare for sale or Know of a Hammerli stockist in US.
At a push I'll file it but I want to avoid this!

Try Frank Kay at Framar (Blackburn) - he just might have some old stock.
Frank used to be the official importer until Hammerli changed hands & the NSRA/Bisley Sports boasted to the new owners that they could sell 3 or 4 times more guns if the NSRA took over the agency. I don't think they've quite managed that - quite the reverse!
Otherwise there are some German gun dealers with websites that can supply spares & sights etc.
