Is this the one that looks like a 1911 and shoots darts, bbs, and pellets? If so, stay away. I had one when I was a kid. It was a piece of junk. I think it lasted 8 months before the bbs would basically roll out of the barrel.
One of the more fun and cheap air pistols I owned when I was a kid was a Crossman 1377.
