Re: National Rifle League Registration
Sporter Rifle
We are shooting Sporter Rifles as a separate group for the second year.
The idea is to provide a spot in NRL for Sporters and welcome them as a stepping stone to Precision Rifle.....
The rules are simple and the idea is to get people in the game without making the participants spend a giant wad of money to shoot our league. Sporter Rifle may be entered as a second event by anyone who wishes.
We will be using the NRA Sporter Rifle equipment rules as a guide, This means Semi Autos are fine. 8 pound gun, any sights, 22 LR or Air Rifle. We understand that Sporter Rifle is shot in a number of places with minor differences in the rules and we will accept anything that is acceptable to the NRA, CMP, JROTC, American Legion or FFA for their Sporter Rifle matches.
Clothing rules will be the NRA smallbore clothing rules. We dont want to make people buy new elbow pad free coats just to shoot our match.
Junior Shooters are especially welcome and will have awards for High Jr and most improved.
Questions can go to Scott Correa spektr98273@gmail.com
