i saw somewhere, and promptly forgot, scaled air pistol targets. designed for practicing at shorter distances. anyone know where i can find these?

I'm not sure about the correctness of the pistol target, but it is impossible to simulate 10m air rifle target at 6m, unless outward scoring system is used, and that does not appear to be the case.

I use 10M air rifle target shoot at 8M distance with my FWB P34. This way it gives me relative idea how I can shoot tight groups or shotgunning.
The sight level seems to be the same as 10M for my 8M practice sight set. If it's a bit low, then adjust your sight accordingly. As far as scoring method, I use the every 2 rings per 1 point count to simulate the real 10M. It is not perfect, but this way gets you shoot at home range distance whatever you can come up.
Target, I buy 12 bulls and cut them into 2 bulls strips and hang them on the trapper, blast them away. Once in a long while, I get to shoot a almost 1 hole group at 8 meter. Pure fun at my Garage Olympic Center.

You will need to have the specs for the regulation 10m AP targets to input.

1 155.5
From this you can make your own targets for whatever range you want.

The SCATT client software has an excellent print target feature, select the diagram and the distance (either a lesser or greater distance).
Client software is on

You may like to get a SCATT unit as well but this is not required for the client software to work.
