10 meter outdoor target holders
My club in southern Ohio is considering having a monthly outdoor 3 position smallbore matches next summer. I would like to include air rifle if possible, but we don't have free standing target holders to set at 10 meters. What have clubs used for outdoor target holders? Are there any commercially made holders that will accommodate the 3 different target heights?
We can make holders, either from wood or steel. Would steel holders be a hazard using target velocity pellets? These would not used for smallbore, only air rifle.
Any input or advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
Don

I once shot at a club that strung parallel wires across the range and shot on four bull AP targets held by clothes pins. Worked fine.

Thanks. I like the holders made from PVC pipe. They would be easy to build and lightweight so we can move them into the storage shed. We don't need a backstop built in, since we would use them at a outdoor range.

We tried the PVC at our range. Assholes shot them to pieces in no time. Now we use wood and make them pay a deposit.

Re: 10 meter outdoor target holders
Not wanting to mess around with PVC, and wanting to keep anything in the line of fire easily replaceable, I bought two of these:

Very well built product. The only thing that would make them better would be tool-free removal of the feet or folding feet.
Have used them in moderate wind and they didn't move, if it's windier use tent pegs on the ends of the feet.
