USA shooting, coach academy

Post by SPPcoach »

Does anyone have any insight into the USA Shooting, coach academy? This was the brainchild of Mike Theimer who left USA Shooting earlier this summer. Since then it seems that the Coach Academy is without a rudder.

I have taken many of the "Advanced" coach web classes in my pursuit to better inform myself about Olympic opportunities and techniques. I look at it as 'continuing education' credits that many professions require.

Just wondering if anyone has heard if this program will continue to develop or fade away.

Did a lot of their online courses.
If yr a noob (non-trainer) those are great courses.
If you are already a trainer, than the basic courses dont add much new, than you have to look for the extra courses (mental training etc)

USA Shooting's Coach Academy is in the process of being reorganized. Goals include making delivery easier and less expensive. Online courses and also to be reviewed and improved. More to come soon.
