none of my friends are interested in shooting air pistols with me and the closest club is in newberry...i was wondering if anyone in the Columbia, South Carolina area is willing to train with me a few times a week?

Have you been to the Newberry club? There are 2 indoor ranges, one dedicated to air. There are training sessions on tues. and thurs. and monthly matches. Dr. Joel Sexton runs the program and is one of the best coaches in the nation(see July 2003 Shooting Sports: intercollegiate pistol championships) He's very generous with positive advice. If you're serious about air pistol, it's worth the half hour drive. Come on out!!

I second that statement. I traveled with him to the USISC in California for several years and he is one of the most generous individuals I know.
