Just got some of those model 41 grips offered through CDNN Investments. They came in a "Sile Custom Grips" yellow box and look great. They were supposed to be factory replacements. I was pleased to see that the thumb rest, heel swell, and 2nd finger shelf were exaggerated in dimensions- kinda like Vitarbo's. My question is to all: Aren't they supposed to fit an "A" serial number M-41 without having to carve on them? Second, there are no brass ferrules or threaded inserts where the grip screws go. I can press out my originals, but they won't fit into the Sile's holes. Do I have an unfinished set? I have not contacted CDNN yet to get their answer. If anyone knows M-41's and their accessories, it's this list. Please comment.
