Hi, I have a KK300 Anatomic, pretty much the last one built before they were end of sale'd. I noticed the other day when looking at someone's KK300 Alutec that their barrel seems a fair bit lighter-weight, even visibly a smaller diameter, although I haven't measured either of them. There are a couple of KK300 Blacktec at my club, and they look like they also have a smaller diameter barrel as compared to my Anatomic.
Were there different barrel weights available in the KK300 series? Do all Anatomics have a heavier barrel then Alutec/Blacktec?

Yes, the kk300s and now the 500s have two barrel diameters
Re: Walther KK300 barrel weight
The standard KK300 was 650 x 22mm, and there was a 650 x 20mm lightweight. The KK500 can be had with these, or a 690x24mm heavy. I have in mind there was a stainless fluted 690x24mm could be had too, for an extra charge.
