FWB2602

Post by Richard »

I have just got a brand new fwb2602 in aluminium stock and was just wondering 2 things? What is the bedding setup , it just looks like a bit of thin foam. And what about the upward pressure setup at the end of the barrel channel.

First, the rubber band in front under the barrel is to dampen vibrations.
The second with the piece of plastics under the action can be there or taken away. With mine I used only 2 NM to torque the screws with in the beginning. Then the rifle shot ok, after a while the plastics got compressed and the rifledidn't shoot with 2Nm on the screws.I tried lots of different Nm , but ended up with taking away the plastics and torque with either 5Nm on both screws or as much as 7Nm on the front one. You need to try all combinations to see where it shoots straight.
