Anyone have any experience with these three spring system recoil spring replacements?
The theory seems sound. But does it work in practice?

Re: DPM Pistol Recoil Reduction System
Springco makes a similar system. I have an old modified 1911 spring guide I used to use on my DCM "hardball" 1911. It seems to cushion the slide in its final rearward movement. I don't know exactly how useful they are or if they increase longevity of 1911's. When tuned to the right recoil spring, they work well. They don't hurt anything, as I got my distinguished pistol badge using one with factory 230 gr. FMJ ammo.

Re: DPM Pistol Recoil Reduction System
Thanks for the reply.
Actually thought it would be a more elegant solution than buffers/bumpers in most guns.
Having a short strong spring at the end of travel Would certainly be better than the sad rubber buffer in my FAS.
