Pardini .45

Post by Fabian »

Does anyone has any experience with the Pardini .45?
How will it compare against custom .45's from Wilson or Clark?
How accurate is this gun at 50 yards?
Thanks in advance.

I have had the 6" GT 45 for six months. I have not used my Clark since owning this gun, and have no plans to resume using the Clark so long as the Pardini is serviceable. The reason is that the Pardini is simply better. Nygord claims 2" groups at 50 yards and although I haven't fired the gun from the bench, I have no reason to disbelieve this claim.
The GT45 is not a 1911 or 1911-style gun. It has its own quirks, the most significant of which is the relatively large grips, which may not be suitable for someone with small hands.

I notice there is a PCS Open model, have you tried that one, or know if anyone sells that model in the U.S.?

Try calling Don Nygord about it. He's a very honest man and he will answer your questions much better than I could. I don't know that particular model.
