What is the profile of the shooter?
Could make a big difference

Re: Easy Quest? [one more time]
Olympic 10m standing position.
For example:
men 170cm high
women 160cm high
In competition:
Why women choose Feinwerkbau?
Why men prefer Walther?
Pardini GPR1
Really good option?

Re: Easy Quest? [one more time]
there is no such thing as feinwerkbau suits women better or walther is preferred by men, quite often it is because what is more accessible in your region or the team purchase order.Mr_NOBODY wrote:Olympic 10m standing position.

For example the Chinese team buys FWB in batch, a dozen or more of those at once, so it is easier for shooters to match accessories as well.
Indian team and Russians buys walther . etc etc
As a casual shooter, if you contact you local dealer and distributor, when they say "we have a Feinwerkbau 800X in stock, if you want LG400 it takes 6-8 months to order one", most people will instantly decide to go with the feinwerkbau, and that was in my case when I bought my rifle.
I'm a man, I shoot with FWB 800X. and it is actually heavier than walthers. but regardless, you gonna put weights on front and back.

It's all about personnal feelings, and wallet size. Only.
All these rifles are masterpieces of engineering.

My daughter shoots the Pardini EVO which is specifically designed for women and loves it. It "fits" her as she says.
Re: Easy Quest? [one more time]
I have both FWB and Anschutz SSP rifles that can out shoot my hold, but when I buy a newer PCP it will be a Walther only because of the loading gate.
The dexterity in my fingers is not getting any better and I know the drop and slide action will let me shoot years longer.

MR.
It looks like you really want the Pardini to be the answer. Buy it, or you will always be thinking about it.
There is no bad choices in tier 1 air rifles.

Agreed! All of these guns are "one hole shooters", especially when using matched pellets.Shooterer wrote:There is no bad choices in tier 1 air rifles.
Which fits your shooter the best, by far the #1 determination on these rifles ... in 10m International events.
I would shy away from the Anschutz ONE stock if you are interested in 3PAR. While the ONE "accomodates" 3PAR, it is not the easiest to change and setup between positions.
Now go to maintenance.
From personal experience Anschutz, and Walther have great support here in the USA and their representing gunsmith(s) that come to our large national matches seem to always have even the goofiest part I need.
(I use Joe Hein at Elite Shooting Sports of Montana)
I cannot speak to the others as my shooters are shooting the two manufacturers above.
On all these rifles, any stainless screw you encounter you should replace (IMO) with a harder steel (say a 10.9). The guns may not look as pretty, but hey..... Those stainless things strip out much faster.
Again, I coach a JR team ... so I have 3 little cases I haul around to replace the screws ... Even the hard steel.
