Other Similar Forum Sites?

Post by Joe58 »

I'm just curious if the members here also frequent other similar type sites about the type of shooting sports covered here.

If so, which ones? I'd like to check them out.

Thanks!

There is nothing quite like TargetTalk. Pilkington's has my eternal gratitude for hosting it all these years.

US Precision Pistol (NRA Bullseye) is covered in pretty good depth on BullseyeForum, and there is some cross-over between Bullseye and International Pistol.

US High Power / Long Range Rifle isn't the same as what is discussed here, but there is some equipment and skills cross-over and occasional discussions about air rifle.

Cant browse anything without full registration. I would like to at least have a look round before giving out my full details.

There's no problem with Stirton.

I've been a member since 2002 (not that that's a recommendation).

May I confirm what David posted, I think the Stirton forum is one of the most helpful forum shooting sites available, I also did not want to register just to look around but don't let that put you off, you will not be disappointed.

Only name and email required, at least it was when I registered. I always use a throw away email for sites I may not use again.

I'm sure I had to enter the name of my club. That was in 2004, and Neil may have changed things, or my memory is playing tricks on me.
