I currently use Sauer Polartec shirt and underpants under my shooting jacket and trousers. I love them in the fall and winter but for summer use, they are really warm.
Any comments or suggestions about what might be a little more comfortable for summer ? What about Thune X.9 or Sauer Technical ?

I like the Hitex shirt; it has thin gussets under the arms, so may be cooler than the Sauer.
Personally I wouldn't change my underlayer, unless it was a year round change. If the jacket fits well over the Sauer Polartec, will it still fit so well over a thinner shirt? My experience says no it will not. You can take lots of water/isotonic onto the firing point to stay hydrated, but you can't compensate for a jackets that's a fraction loose so easily.
