I'm considering buying an Izhmash URAL-5 smallbore rifle. Is tehre anyone experienced this rifle ? What are your opinions ? I'm insterested in shooting 50m prone, will this rifle do the job ? Where can I buy it ? (considering I'm in Europe, specifically in Portugal).

I shoot two rifles of Izhmash since 3 yaers. The smallbore Ural 6-2 and the large-bore Record-2. You cant compare the russian craftmanship with that of an rifle from swizerland, germany or austria but the rifles are accurate for its prices (.22 9mm with 5 shoot on 50 m, .308 19 mm with 5 shoot on 100 m).
I received these rifles from Frankonia-Jagd in Germany.
They havent the non-standard rifles of Izhmash in his catalogue. Because I`m interested in buying the non-standard rifles (smallbore and large-bore)Ural 5-1 and Ural-2 I have send today a mail to Ishmash with the question of delivering these rifles to a dealer of my choice in germany.
We will see !!
