No.... Have not adjusted the trigger but am now
of the understanding that there is a sear adjustment screw that can be adjusted to fix the problem

The sear screw is just one of many things that can cause full auto on the LP5, including the position of the cocking ears.
I found the only way to get the gun to function reliably was to get it serviced by someone who knows what they are doing.
