We have finished Week Ten of this Year’s Vermont Winter Postal League. Whitehall, NY came in first place again this week with a score of 1583, they were led by Jason Pratt, who fired a 398 in 4-P. Albion PA was second just one point behind with a 1581, led by Nathan Pavolko, who also fired a 398 in 4-P. Sutter Gold CA came in third this week with a 1576, and were led by, Jrs, Nadine Ahola and Rachel Benesh who both fired a 395 in 4-P. Just 13 points separated our top 7 teams.

New Holland PA, came in first this week in the Southern Division with a 1573 led by Frank Wasco who fired a 397 in 4-P, followed by Long Island who fired a 1561, led by the shooting of Larry Puccio with a 395 in prone. Plattsburgh came in first in the Northern Division with a 1574, led by Peter Visconti 397. We had a tie for Second place in the Northern Division between Pointe Claire PQ with a 1451 led by junior shooter Thomas Vila who fired a 384 in prone and Massena NY who were led by Brian Berg who fired a 375 in 4-P. Whitehall came in first in the East followed by Barrington NH who fired a 1570 led by John Liska 397 prone, and Robert Lynn 397 4-P. Albion PA was first in the Central with second place going to Jamestown NY who were led by, junior shooter, Clayton Hanson 398 4P. Sutter Gold was first in the Western Division followed by Sutter White who fired a 1544 and were led by junior shooter Madelyn Erickson who shot a 391 in 4-P.

This week’s Top shooters are John Liska of Barrington NH, with a 397 in prone, Clayton Hanson of Jamestown NY with a 398, in 4 position and Andre Gross, of Rochester NY with a 396 in air rifle/standing. Our Top Junior Shooters were Hanson, in 4-P, Gross in standing and Matthew Sanchez, of Central FL, with a 391 prone. In All-Star Action this week the Eastern All-Stars fired a 1589 led by Jason Pratt of Whitehall (398) outshot the Central Division All-Stars (1588) by just one point.

In addition to the results below you will also find a separate document that shows the results from our individual (group of four) bracket match for this week. Congratulations to all of our winners.

The Official End of Season results, and season rap up, will come out in the next day or so via separate e-mail, the next report will include final averages, final team standing Season All-Stars (first and second team) Season Top Shots (Top 10), MVP’s rookie of the year, and most improved team. This slight delay, will also give us a chance to correct any last minute mistakes that might affect final standings.

I will mail out checks to our winners within a week. Checks will be sent to each team captain for the total amount, Team Captains kindly send me an e-mail as to what address you want me to send this check. If you are an individual shooter, and have won in either week 7 or 10, kindly send me an e-mail with your home address.
