When setting up Scatt USB, is windows 10 ok?
Also, when all then updates are available online, do I really have to use the CD for installation?

Yep. no problem with Window 10, just make sure you download the most recent driver and program version from http://www.scatt.com rather than the one on the CD, as that is almost certainly not the current one.
