Scatt MX-02
I am a small bore and air rifle shooter. I am in the process of ordering the Scatt MX-02. I am told it will only work properly on single bull targets. Where can I get single bull ISSF targets for 10m air rifle and 50 foot small bore targets? Any information would be appreciated.
Re: Scatt MX-02
This is correct - MX02 gets confused by multi-bull targets.
What I do is take one multi-bull card and cut it up into individual aiming marks and then use a second card as a mount by cutting a couple of slits in it either side of where you want the aiming mark to go, turning it so the blank side is facing you and sliding the single aiming marks into the slits.
Works perfectly for any distance (I do 25y and 50m like this).

Re: Scatt MX-02
Is it cheaper then to just cut apart the multi-bull target?
Re: Scatt MX-02
I just cut out a single 25yd diagram and paste it to the back of another target.
For 50m we have fanfold targets so we only see one aiming mark.
The MX-02 is very easy to use either indoor or outdoor.

Re: Scatt MX-02
The SCATT software will allow you to print any target you like and scale it to your given distance. This is especially important with the MX-02, as it will only work with a properly scaled target. Also important to note is that you can't calibrate the SCATT in preview mode; you have to take it out of preview mode to take the calibration shot.
Re: Scatt MX-02
The great thing about preview mode is that you can see if the scatt sensor is aligned properly to the barrel.mtncwru wrote:The SCATT software will allow you to print any target you like and scale it to your given distance. Oh yes, for that it is incredibly useful. But also incredibly frustrating when you're trying to calibrate it in preview mode and nothing happens!bdutton wrote:The great thing about preview mode is that you can see if the scatt sensor is aligned properly to the barrel.mtncwru wrote:The SCATT software will allow you to print any target you like and scale it to your given distance.
