Matchguns MG5

So, currently I shoot the CM84e, but find that a bit of adjustability grip vise would be nice,
so I've been eying the MG5.

Anyone here use it regularly or know anyone who does?
Any info is welcome.

I previously had a MG5e and now amongst others have a CM84e. MG5 is a nice pistol no doubt about that. By default the grip has much more rake compared to the Morini. Sure it can be adjusted but you can't go far away from default without messing up harmonics between grip and pistol anyway. At least not without major modifications to the grip. The ability to adjust sideways is nice though. Compared to the Morini the MG5 has a quite different weight distribution and it is much lighter. IMHO the e-trigger is better on the Morini and had less tendency to double click. I know this phenomena is irrelevant on a single load pistol but I just can't stand it. If I should buy another MG5 it would definitely be with a mechanical trigger. Another thing I like better on the Morini is the fact it is not fitted with a compensator as default. I just hate cleaning things that are irrelevant for my shooting (IMHO don't start a war). So if you like more rake, lighter weight and compensators there could be good reasons to move to a MG5.

i have the mechanical mg5 and i like it very much. havent shot the cm84e but have shot
pardini k50, toz35. mg5 had the best balance even with all rods on it. ejects cleanly with sk
and is as accurate as the other two. very nice adjustable sights. i can't practice but my scores
are in the 500 area with k50/toz i was quite lower.
since i was the first owner of mg5 in greece other shooters asked me
to shoot 5-10 rounds with it. all liked it very much. its recoil is minimal and you can follow through very easily. all liked the fact that the grip can be adjusted plus if you want later you can put electronic trigger. in fact my mg5 has the upper part from mg5e.

edit as tb stated it feels quite light and has lots of rake at the grip. it feels a lot like an air pistol

its what I'm after. Compensator is no probs,

Since I have learned from you after reading and reading ..

As for the operation, I have a month , and has not given me any problems , except for the SK ammunition , there are many times not eject properly .

Bring the new compensator ( black ) , but does not carry the load lever articulated .

Hector- Thanks for posting those video's, they are just an excellent aid to disassembly. My MG-5 mechanical has been pretty well perfect but it's getting to the point I'll have to take it apart to do some deep cleaning. These videos are going to be a valuable resource.
