Not at all; why would you think that?

Maybe you didn't realise that the quoted message wasn't from Demyan.

I talked with Demyan 2 years ago at the SHOT show about US importation. I talked with Maennel about the same during the World Championships in July. Both guns shown both times were non-guns, with solid barrels, no bore!. See these pics from the World Champs

Gerd is planning to work with the Russians producing the gun in Ernsthofen in the same building that Steyr Sportwaffen was in for a few years after they seperated from Mannlicher. Will the quality be the necessary level to make it viable????? time will tell.

Will we import it into the US??? thats a big question too... will have to weigh the cost of getting ATF approval on a new gun design versus the numbers expected to sell.... Honestly its not a an easy choice anymore.

Requiescat in pace... ?

I spoke with Mr. Männel today. On the IWA.

Newest news is that the SP-08 is back in Limbo again, and that the Austrian project is dead, graveyard dead, buried, heavy granite slab on the grave.

Sorry for the bad news. :-( He was even sorrier. Lost a significant sum of money on it. I believe him.

This is very sad news.
Ruig - if you see this, can you enlighten us what might have happened on the Russian / Demyan side of things?

There is a well known name in the EU/World behind Demyan LLC. He knows how to sell and what a service/sell network is. Believe me. I hope that in the end of this week we will get more info.
It is five years later now. What became of your hope, Igor?

I don't follow SP-08 project but I can give you contacts for your business offers and investor interests... if any.

Demyan have a small business in Finland now as I know
