Grip and sight upgrade for Model-14

Post by DWood »

I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out a bit. I am looking for a new set of semi-target grips for my S&W model 14. I love Nill Griffe grips and have a pair for another revolver and I am considering getting a pair for the Model 14. My only issue is the grips I have and like are not available for a square butt, so I would have to go with a different version of their grips. Before I buy a $200+ set of grips, I thought I would ask here if anyone had any other suggestions. This revolver will be uses mostly for informal bullseye shooting during the winter and I have medium size hands.

I was also considering replacing the rear sight since it has a ding on it. Any one here have any suggestions for a new target sight? Ive been looking into the Weigand rear sight.

Thanks

You might be able to find a set these on ebay or gunbroker.
