Toz-35 replacement parts
Hello All,
I just ordered a Toz-35M. What replacement parts would you recommend I stock up on "just in case"?
Many thanks

TOZ springs are crap!
I get by with good quality paper clips and S&W revolver trigger return springs (shortened) for the firing pin.

LOL! Thanks Rover! Practical solutions are great!
How do you implement the paper clips?

I bend them with needle nose pliers to shape. You may have to try a few different ones to find one with "good" metal.
Beats $10 for another useless junker and really do work quite well. You may have to flatten the loop the screw goes through with a couple of raps of a hammer.

Re: Toz-35 replacement parts
if you bought one in the box, it probably has 2 or 3 firing pin springs, an extra firing pin, a few rear blades and a few front sights. i haven't needed anything yet, it seems to be pretty robust as long as you put it away un-cocked.....

Re: Toz-35 replacement parts
There is a S&W spring that can be cut down to make a firing pin spring. I bought a couple and have used one so far but don't remember the details. A search of the Forum should tell you which one it is.

Copy that Roger, thanks. Rover said that he used S&W revolver trigger return springs

Oops - sorry. I guess I'll have to go back and work on my "reading for comprehension" skills.

The TOZ firing pin spring can be replaced with a 15# or 16# S&W rebound spring.rodn wrote:.... he used S&W revolver trigger return springs

Re: Toz-35 replacement parts
You can also use the firingspring from any pardini freepistol. No cutting required.
You get 2 and a small piece from a ruger 22, but that means cutting. Twice.

Best brand and size of paperclip for the sear spring? Wouldn't mind searching and making a few spares now rather than later...
Re: Toz-35 replacement parts
Small and springy.
Buy American!

Fwiw....
I haven't tried it myself, but have been told that hobby shop "K&S music wire" will make a sear spring.

No.8 wire, mate.

But seriously, a sturdy paperclip would work. Apparently a bulldog clip with the right swept profile works too.
