Could somebody explain the function/purpose of this adjustment screw in a Hammerli 215?

It's been a while since I did anything with it so my memory is a bit weak, but it's either the sear tension screw or the lock screw for the sear tension screw. I'm not near my 208s to check it right now, but maybe someone else can chime in.
