Can those people explain?
If its just the cleaning that's difficult...
If its a bad trigger and lots of breakage then it's a negative vote worth.

Its getting hard to make up my mind.

I have a old used 96u and its a dreamgun.
If the deal had gone true with the "new" 96u I wouldn't bought a new gun.

All I hear from the new guns isn't very positive.
I'm doubting between:
0: Unique 96u in mint condition with weights
1: Walther SSP .22
2: Pardini SP .22
3: Walther GSP expert .22

If I can find anything to pick holes in the SSP it would be kind of a high price-point, otherwise quite fancy.

Not from me. I have the SSPE - and I like it very, very much.....

And you will probably find that the 5 "negative" votes are from people who don't actually own a SSP/SSP-E..

While I don't own a SSP, I've shot a couple of cases of ammo with one that a friend of mine owns.
When I compare that experience with my Pardini I can't find any rational reason to justify spending more 500+ euros on one.
I still like the Pardini better, with the Walther SSP tied with the Morini CM for second place. And I've fired all of them.

The option on the poll is "wouldn't recommend it", not "is a bad gun".
To me it's not worth the extra €, hence my vote. Otherwise it's a good gun.

If you like yours and you shoot better with it, more power to you.

And now I have to ask, have you tried a Pardini? ;)

You need not own one to form an opinion. In fact only a fool would buy something without first having an opinion!

I just voted against it because I won't buy any Walther products. I've had, and heard of, too many problems with service. Now that they bought Hammerli, they've destroyed the (previously exemplary) service for those as well. Maybe it's better in Europe, but in the US, it's dreadful.

Yes I have - have owned the old Pardini SP, then the Pardini GPE Schumann, Pardini, K22, Pardini GT9, Pardini K2, Pardini K2S, Pardini K12, Pardini SP New, Pardini HP New, Pardini SP1 Electronic.

I like Pardinis as well ( except for the e trigger models )- but have found them a too muzzle heavy for me - due to a bad shoulder from a motorcycle crash a long time ago.

I also have a new model Benelli MP90S and my personal experience is that it is a little better than the Pardini.... Better quality, balance, grip, accuracy - but the sights on a Pardini are better..

I think that the walther is a fine piece of craftsmanship, and I would be honored and not be outclassed if I owned and shot one, but I prefer the pardini.

I have no idea if my scores with the pardini are better then if I shot a walther, I just really like the pardini.

I'm in the other boat. I've never owned a Pardini (except FPM). I've owned a Walther SSP and now have Matchguns MG2, both have been excellent performers. I haven't gone to Pardini because I have a preference for six inch barrels, and an adjustable grip helps overcome an old elbow injury. I have helped other club members set up triggers on their Pardini's and it is my belief that the Pardini trigger is better than either the SSP or MG2.

I also believe this to be true regarding the Pardini trigger and its adjustment.


My MP90S Benelli was one of the best sport pistols I have owned and it would be right up there if I was to splurge on a new one.

I have also found that when you move from specification sheet to the real world there is often a difference in how similar spec pistols perform in relation to group size.

I remember practising 20 and 10 second standard pistol using the MG2, Benelli mp90s,Walther SSP, and Hammerli SP20.
The group size always was the smallest with the Benelli, with the MG2 some way behind, then followed up by the SP20 and the SSP shooting the largest groups ....for reasons I do not understand.

The point I am making is that we need to shoot various pistols to find the one that suits us and provides the tightest group under conditions that the pistol and ourselves will ultimately be tested...shooting as tight a group of 5 shots as possible.
Also a pistol that provides better results fo me may not be the best for someone else.

It depends you have the ones with the black frame and the ones with the gold frame.
There are other subtitle changes, but not so many.

But it's a shame the barrelweight/sleeve wasn't included in the pistol when they originally sold it.
I think the overall price brought the company down. + They lost the police of France contracts because they switched to .357 magnum.





BTW I've written a letter to FMR unique and they will send me their bank account number so I can order the spare parts.
Everybody stock up :).
