Load data for Pardini GT 45-6 & GT 9-6
Can anyone tell me load data for Pardini GT 45-6 also GT 9-6. Also what is the best C.O.A.L
I have found Hornady XTP 185grain works well With the GT 45. Any suggestions on bullet type, powder e.t.c will be most appreciated. Powder availability around here (NJ) is spotty. Found some W 231 which I promptly bought. No Vhitavouri anywhere. I love the gun.

Thank you sobakavitch. Appreciate the information. Will try A.O.L 1.205 . I was using the same amount of crimp. Will use 4.9 grain of W 231 and go from there. Will order some Zero 185 . In the mean time I will try the XTP 185 grains that I have.

AS FAR AS 9MM LOADS
MOST ACCURATE BULLET HORNADY 115GR XTP
2ND HORNADY 115 0R 121 GR HAP
3RD ZERO 115GR CONICAL (ALMOST A DEAD TIE WITH THE HAP)
BEST POWDER VV330 5.0GR
2ND WSF 5.4GR
OAL 1.142"
FED PRIMER
UNDER AN INCH WITH XTP AND VV330
1.25" WITH WSF AND HAP
THIS IS WITH 3 DIFFERENT 9MM 1911'S.

Thanks Jim for the info. Powder situation is tight around here. I found some W231 so I am limited to experimenting with that. Thanks again.

231 WORKS FINE ALSO. 5.1GR ABOUT 1.5" AT 50YDS WITH THE XTP A LITTLE BIT LARGER WITH THE HAP. BUT THE GUN NEEDS TO BE CLEANED MORE OFTEN. JP

Thanks Jim,
Currently I am at 4.9 with OAL 1.20 and .469 crimp with 185gr XTP. Will up it to 5.1 as you suggested. 231 is a dirty powder but at the moment I don't have much choice.

I tried 5.1 gr W231 with Hornady XTP JHP 185gr with C.O.A.L 1.20 and .469 crimp. Had fantastic results. Only made 10 bullets. Under 1" at 25 . Thank you one and all. The GT45-6 is a great gun. I can not do this with any of my other guns.

.45 RELATED; I HAVE FOUND THE ZERO 185GR JHP TO BE MUCH BETTER THAN THE 185GR XTP AT 50YDS. ALSO 5.3-5.4 231 WAS BEST FOR ME WITH THAT BULLET. JP

For the 45ACP,5.1 gr of W231 worked fine with the 185 gr XTP AT 25yds. The load had to be increased to 5.4 gr for 50yds as you suggested.

I have been using 4.7 - 4.8 gr of WST with the Zero 185 LSWCHP with very good results. COAL was set at 1.21 with a .470 crimp. One large hole at 50 feet on the indoor range where I shoot,

Don't forget to try magnum primers to get a little better (cleaner) burn out of these light charges.
