I want to thank all of the 160 entrants from across the country for participating in this years league.

Congratulations to Albion PA, our 2015 League Champions with a team score of 15,784, led by, Joseph Shrader, (396.10 average). Albion led the league for most of the season and for a few weeks were in a tight race with Plattsburgh, until they pulled away with a twenty five point victory. This is Albion’s second League Championship. Plattsburgh came in second place, with a 15,759, led by Peter Visconti (395.2). Whitehall came in third place with a 15,702, led by Jason Pratt, (395.5). In Fourth place was Jameston NY, with a 15,659, their top shooter was Clayton Hanson (397.30).

After 10 weeks our Division standings are as follows; Albion PA is our Western Division Champion, (their second Division Championship) ahead of Jamestown. Plattsburgh is our Northern Division Champion, with Burlington in second. Whitehall is the Southern Division Champion (their second Division Championship and (19th first place finish) , ahead of Barrington.

This year’s Top 4-P shooter was Clayton Hanson, of Jamestown, who had a 397.30 average and fired a 400 in match 10. Clayton’s average is a new league record for a shooter who has fired a at least five matches. The top Prone shooter this year was John Liska of Barrington NH 396.5. Our top Standing shooter was Eric Sloan of Niantic, (391.7). Our Top Junior Shooters this year were; Clayton Hanson, Jamestown, 4-P; Eric Sloan, Niantic, 395, Prone and Standing.

Our best 4-P Score was a 400 fired by James Perrin Rochester and Joseph Shrader of Albion during week 7 and Clayton Hanson of Jamestown, during week 10. Our best prone score was fired by David Higgins of Colorado with a 400 during week 3. Abi Winegarden had our best standing score with a 397 during week 9. Please share this e-mail with your teammates and fellow shooters. I want to once again, thank you all for participating. Thank you to our club captains/managers and coaches for organizing your teams; without your hard work this league and our sport would not thrive. The league has grown from a regional league to one of the largest in the country. We were lucky to have over 160 entrants this season. I will be sending out a separate e-mail to our team leaders requesting input on how we can further improve our league. The best part of my job as Director is pleasure I have in corresponding with all of you. I wish you all the best in all aspects of your life including your shooting. Remember its up to al of us to grow this sport make a point of introducing just one new person to the sport during the offseason. I look forward to next season, see you all at the range.
