S&W 52/1 reloading
Hi! I still use S&W 52/1 for Centerfire competition.. which is the best and accurate reloading for this pistol?..as powder Norma R1 2,5 grains no more avalable in Italy. Thank you!
Re: S&W 52/1 reloading
R1 has not been sold here in the US for better than 10 years, so not a lot of us have any recent experience with it. It has a burning rate that is about the fastest ever made, so powder charges will be very light.
All the old links I have for this powder are dead. Sorry.

Both my M52 and Colt .38 Spec. conversion shot most accurately with 3.2 gr of 700X and a Speer HBWC (now changed in design).

Hi.
Try VV N310, an exellent powder for light targetloads in .32 and .38 (and .45acp)
It`s the fastest burning powder from Vitavouri.
