Korean world champion wears Addidas weight lifting shoes for shooting, with raised heel and low lying front patting.

Raised heel? Any rationale for this?

He probably prefers the weight distribution it gives him.

I have the same shoes as Jin Jongoh and the are outstanding. If you have never used shooting shoes before you can feel an instant improvement of stability.

Benefits:
The weight lifting shoes are much cheaper than the branded shooting shoes.
Raised heels design for improved stability
