What have you found to be the best adjustments for the Crosman challenger?

If you start from full clockwise on both adjustments how far clock wise have you set your adjustments. My Challenger I have adjusted to knob .250 space, spring or allen wrench is 6 clockwise. My strings start around 554 with JSB 7.33 dome. Have not found wad cutter it likes yet. Rarely will I not have just one pellet size hole at 10 meters but thought maybe a better adjustment would help with the worst groups. Usually shoot 5 shot groups.
