Have you already seen the 25m Sport Pistol Finals?
If not, it's absolute worth to watch, especially the Bronze Medal match.

As jet i didn't know anything about the Hungarian shooting lady, but as of now she has at least one new fan. So cute. :-)
And have you also seen, there are many good shooters from North Korea. Hopefully no one will ask them this time whey they are so good. That wasn't already 1972 in Munich at the Olympic Games the best idea. Some of you will remember that legendary prone match. ;-)

Yes, they are more conscious of the need for pollitical correctness ................... but sure I'd pay to know what goes in their minds!!!FrankD wrote:Have you already seen the 25m Sport Pistol Finals?

Anyway, I had a member of my local club in the national shooting squad at the 1972 OG (he shot the 3 position 50 m. course) and he was "outraged" by the Korean athlete sayings, but he also told me that a lot of the rifle shooters in the Olympic Villa tried their sights on the Black September thugs every time they appeared on that balcony, so.................................... I guess no one has his hands clean enough.

Re: ISSF World Champs in Granada - 25m Sport Pistol Women
I agree Frank, it was a cracking match.
Speaking to the Sius guys at the Commonwealth Games, we had a 9 series (bronze) medal match which equalled the longest they have ever known. Today's was also 9 series.
IMHO the ISSF/YouTube coverage of the World Championships is much better than we have seen before. The picture quality is great and even the commentary is making it enjoyable. The hit/miss indication in the medal matches was a real tension builder.
My only (very minor) complaint is that I would like to be able to hear the range commands a bit clearer.
Yes, North Korea does have some good shooters, but with Jin yesterday and Kim today (and many others) I think it would be fair to say that South Korea are also doing their bit.
