Heirich Ries, Who is he? Pardini RF Damper

I notice Pardini gives Heirich Ries credit for the spring loaded damper system used in the SP1 RF. I can find nothing on him and very, very little on what Pardini calls the adjustable multifunction counterweight. Does anyone know of any more information? M1911
