2001 superair question

Seems every once in awhile, I get a loud pop when firing and the pellet comes out at extremely low velocity or not at all. Do I have a breech seal issue or is the action not locking up?
Don't say piston seal.....

Any advice/help would be appreciated.

If the breech seal is in good shape then it sounds like the ....... Ram seal needs to be replaced. Notice I did not say *^%@* seal :-)
time to strip it down and have a look see
