Feinwerkbau P700 - Air escaping from back of trigger housing

Post by Bruno Almeida »

Friends,

I adjusted the speed of my rifle to shoot around 183 m/s, made adjustments to the screws 3.2.100.315 and 1746.206.1 (exploded view) with the cilinder filled to 160 bar.

Got average of 183,4 m/s after 10 shoots in the chronograph and then take another 80 shots with the same cilinder, after those shoots the chronografh showed 160,2 m/s, was almost empty but still within the green zone of the manomether.

Changed the cilinder for one with 175 bar and the chronograp showed several "bad" shoots in its display, after many attempts i colud get a reading of 170 m/s and then noted ar escaping from the back of the trigger housing in the direction of my cheeck and aiming eye after releasing the shoots.

Did i blown an oring ?

Is there an specific presseure that the cilinder must have to start the adjustment ?

Edited:

Can the air be escaping from the back of the absorber ? Does it need some adjusment or if its poorlly adjusted the air can leack from its back ?

Thank you.
