Do you need to re-click the rifle during a match ?

The way I think is that it is most important to call the shots and when they are off call on a good shot then I adjust my sights. Otherwise I keep chasing my errors and when I do make the correct shot then I probably will hit somewhere else on the target than the middle.

If my recoil looks differnent and/or something doens't feel good in that shot then I don't touch my sights.

I think it's a little easier with air rifle because there is less recoil to handle and the grouping of the ammunition/rifle is smaller.

In smallbore I want 2-3 good shots that is tightly together before I adjust.

I mostly shade when shooting outdoor so I don't adjust so much for wind if the wind conditions doesn't totally change during the match. I usually sight in a low velocity wind condition and shade from that.
