Junior clubs in Denver

Post by aurorapolice02_11 »

I am looking to try my hand at coaching junior shooters, mostly pistol, in the Denver area. Does anyone know of any clubs?

Thanks,

I called them about a year ago and was told their junior shooters were rifle. Thank you.

I don't know if Arvada or Greely do pistol, I suspect they are rifle focused. NTC juniors in Colorado Springs has pistol.

Another option would be 4-H, many counties Adams, Boulder etc have air pistol programs including precision level shooters not just entry level.

Mike,
Bud at the OTC club has a very active pistol program. He has at least a half dozen or more kids shooting Progressive Pistol starting on rests and working their way up to unsupported.

Arvada's JR program is all rifle at this point, but one of the board members is contemplating starting a JR pistol program once the range is finished. PM me for more details.
