NAP Standing, Small Vertical Adjustments

Post by GGibson »

Assuming I have established my NPA on the center of the target.
Now I need to move slightly up or down as I progress thru the targets on the paper.
Do I hold the upper body in a fixed position (that is forearm hand and elbow fixed), and move my rear foot position to "tilt" my entire body up and down?
Or do I slip my forearm hand a little in or out to adjust the muzzle height?
I could also bend at the waist or do a little of all these.
I am an average shooter, with an Anschutz 1903 wood, but I'm close to moving up to 1907 in precise stock. At least in my mind.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Try moving your feet closer together (for lower impact) or further apart (for higher impact). This allows everything else to stay, and feel, the same from shot to shot.

Very small movements.
