Help with broken fwb 300s tigger?

Post by scrane »

Hello,
I recently received an fwb 300s in the mail and the "trigger carrier" had been damaged. The trigger carrier is a plastic block with a steel lever cast in to it to which the trigger blade is mounted. I have located a trigger block spare, but I am wondering if I should attempt the swap.
Although the part is mounted by a single pin, I am wondering if other trigger linkages will be displaced or tiny springs will start popping out wildly.
Can anyone tell me if this is a pretty straightforward operation or would I need a professional to delve deeply into the trigger group?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sandy,
Boise, Idaho.

The trigger carrier goes right in without complication. Just pull the pin and slip the part in. You may need to unlatch the cocking lever to override the automatic trigger interlock. Piece of cake.
