Rebuild / Maintenance intervals for a LP10?

I'm just coming back to AP after a while off (about 9 years) and my LP-10 is losing pressure somewhere. It's got a fresh o-ring on the regulator probe. (And yes, I'll need a new tank for competition).

This has happened twice in a row now- After a short session I put the pistol away with 150 BAR or so in the tank (screwed on), and a week or two later I open the case and there is zero pressure. Totally empty.

So, are there any internal seals that may need maintenance? Scott rebuilt my regulator at the USASNC in 2003, about 9 months (yes, that's why) before I mothballed everything. Are there any recommended 10 year/250,000 shot services?

I've got a FAS604 to tide me over...

There is another o-ring inside the regulator.

One point is to unscrew your cylinder after each session. Steyr recommend you do that anyway, but I only bother with my LP5 which does seem to lose air as well. That will also give you a pointer as to which bit is actually leaking. With regards time, I only get mine serviced when it's faulty. I think that's twice in about 10 or 12 years for me.

I put some silicone grease on the big green regulator o-ring which looked like it could use some; I'll see if that fixes things.

My valve seal is somewhat worn too. Is it advisable to put a little silicone grease on it, or should the valve seat remain dry?

In none of the videos I've seen do they mention that the valve needs lubrication, so I guess it is supposed to remain dry.
If it's worn I would find a replacement, as it can be the cause of the leak. As RobStubbs suggested, try and leave the cylinder unscrewed, so that you can narrow it down to the pistol or a cylinder fault.

When my old LP1 sprung a leak i had to replace,
PART 18(valve aasembly) cost about $40
,you will have to remove the pressure reducing valve complete part 29,
but do not unscrew the screw,s with the red paint on them they hold the whole thing together , only undo the screws without the red paint , and pull off , you will probably want to replace the large oval o-ring part 13 while you are there, very easy consult your manual for pics .
