Differences between Match Guns MG5 old and new.

Post by LukeP »

What's the difference between a first series MG5 (number 1004) and a new one from today?

As `far as i know, match guns with time change:
- Flat type compensator from flat black to blue round type.
- Trigger lever from 2 to 3 lever: is this a disadvantage?
- apart the needing of regular maintenance cleaning i didn't read about specific problem.

After shooting a bit with the MG5 of a friends, i like it so much That I'm thinking about changing from toz to Mg5
(recoil feeling great, and i made a nice group with it Also Also if the grip does not fit me)

thank you guys,
LukeP.

Did you ask Stefano about the technical changes? He's pretty fair about what he promises (or not).

Stefano was very kind and accurate,
told me that this parts changed:

Breechblock
Extractor,
Compensator,
Cocking lever,
Trigger sear.

Plus that early number 1004 cannot mount the electronic trigger.
He responded the same day, very well!

Is there an email contact for Stefano?

I will need to see if my recent used purchase has been upgraded, or needs updated parts...

Should i send photos of specific components MG2 standard
