Can someone point me towards a source for the tools that come with a 300? I bought one recently, it shoots beautifully for me but making adjustments to the rear and front sights is difficult without the wrenches that normally come with the gun. Help!

Thanks for the reply.
The problem is that the notches on the knobs are not opposite each other so a large screwdriver cannot be used. That is why I thought there is a tool that fits those notches. For now I hand-tighten them as best I can.
BTW I've been to Amsterdam, lived on a houseboat for a month, and visited the gardens at flower festival time. What a country...really great.

Nothing fancy, just wanting to make sure that my rear sight is tight to where it won't vibrate out of zero. Same for the front sight.
Hand tighten the rear sight is enough.
My front sight is integral with a base that wraps around the muzzle and that is pinned to the barrel. If you have a removable front sight, same thing, hand tighten, or if it needs a tool tighten till snug, you don't have to crank down on it. You don't have the heavy recoil of a .308 to deal with.

Well, gang, I think we have exhausted the subject! The verdict is in: hand tighten those knobs and be done with it. I'll just double up on my Wheaties ration and get to it. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it.

A short discussion and tools. May help. Most said do not over tighten.
