Good purchase.
But as to the LP1 not lasting...
Well I would have to say that it will last the same amount of time or longer without breaking down as an LP10.
There really is no difference between the two except for the recoil device and loading lever.
It has more moving parts which means more to go wrong.
My thought of my LP1 purchase was great, I saved $600. and they are pretty much identical pistols.
