Store air cylinders for three weeks without use ?

Post by Bruno Almeida »

Hy, in first place, merry Chrystmas for every one, and good shoots :-)

I would like your opinion, please, about the best way to store the air cylinders whyle i am in vacation, i live in Brazil and its very hot.

I have a Fein P700 and will be three weeks without use, left one cylinder with 140 bar and the second with 190 bar, should i empty then or let charged ? Or there is no diference between living charged or not ?

Thank you very much, Bruno Almeida.

I even let them permanently screwed onto the guns...no problem..Just dont put them in direct sunlight for too long.

I have been told by the gun smith that if I leave the cylinder unscrewed when not in use that it relieves the pressure off the regulator and seals and by doing this let these parts last longer.
