Hi,
I have several AW93 magazines which have becoming difficult to use.
The spring action is very tight and feels gritty.
Can anyone explain the best way to clean it and fee it up.
Anyone tried ultrasonic cleaners, and if so what solution did you use.
Cheers
Scott

1 Disassemble and get the big bits out (I have found dead beetles in magazines I have been give to clean)
2 Soak in petroleum solvent (2-stoke fuel works) overnight
3 Scrape off crud (bronxe brush)
4 Ultrasonic cleaner using Shellite/White Spirit/Dry Cleaning fluid (good ventilation and proper fire precautions!)
5 Reassemble - making sure you get the spring the correct way round (there are four options, and usually only one works)
6 Lubricate and remove excess lubricant
7 Shoot and enjoy
